When you wake up one day and your baby is no longer a baby but a little man and you can’t help but wonder where the time went.

My son is now six years old and healthy. There was a time not so long ago that he was tiny and not healthy. Having been born early, he struggled with many basic things, sucking on the bottle, breathing, and overall development. The first few years were the worst. He wouldn’t sleep because he couldn’t breath. His speech was non existent to where every day was struggle. I cried myself to sleep many a night but stayed strong for him because he needed me more than ever.

After many years of struggling there was a light at the end of the tunnel. A doctor suggested he have his adenoids taken out. My son’s adenoids where twice the size that they should be and they were causing the trouble breathing, walking, talking, eating and more.

The surgery was a success! My son was able to walk, talk, eat and breath like a normal kid. He was so happy and proud of himself! We all were!

Life has gotten easier for both of us. The daily struggles that once were are no longer as hard. He still struggles with speech and he has been diagnosed with ADHD but nothing we can’t handle.
