Daily Prompt: A Little Sneaky

Standard

Are writing prompts a useful exercise, or do you find them to be too limiting and/or hokey?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us SNEAKY.

I think the writing prompts are useful in that they get you do write about something that you wouldn’t normally write about. But at the same time it can be something that is always there for you to write about. An easy way out sorta speak. Not to say that I do like to take part in them because I do enjoy reading what others have written about. And yes the daily prompt can be a little hokey but sometimes you need a little hokey in your life.
